Youthtown-EOTC week

For the third day of EOTC week a game company Youthtown came. We played lots of games with them.

The first thing we did in the morning was the roll. Then we grabbed our hats and got our shoes on and then we lined up and waited for room 31. Then when they came we talked about what games there was and what groups we were in. Then they told us what we were doing first. My group, group A  was dong tipi building first.

We ran over and they explained the rules. We did a knot in the three bamboo sticks and pulled them   out the sticks. Next we put tarpolen on top. It was awesome. We played in it for a little  and made two rooms we tried sneaking in the other groups they had a trip rope but it did not work because I      stood on it. We waited for all the groups to swap over.

Next up was archery. We went down to the bottom courts and the man explained the rules for example we had to pull out the string with our index finger our our middle finger and our ring finger. We practiced first. The bow was really heavy and I did not get the target any time. It was really hard. Then we had a competition but we lost 150 points and 140 points.

Next it was morning tea"finally" I said “I am starving”. After Hannah and I finished eating we skipped to the blue bars and played there. Then it was the end of morning tea and we went to line up in the group A line.

Our next activity was the Flintstones Cart. First the coach taught us how to do two knots and one lash. Then we put the cart together. After we had finished making it it looked scary going on. My group was second on and we had to get off quite a few times because lots we were going the wrong way another time we ran over a cone and the other time we were heading towards the tipi's and everyone let go, ran back and watched us. Hannah, Emily and I were screaming but then the coach saved us. When we got off we realised what had happened, the bamboo stick had broken. Then it was lunch time.

After lunch we did problem solving. There was lots of activities. The first one was the mine tracks. There was a lot of circles on the ground and we had to follow the track if we took the wrong circle then BOOM!!!!!  Next we did the shrinking island and we had to stay on the tarpaulin . It shrunk half each time. Then we all got a pipe and we used a golf ball to roll down the pipes and it landed in the cup our group was the first group to do it. Next we did a wooden plank one. It was where there was lots of islands on the ground. We put the wood in between the islands to get to the other side.

Next up we had walkie talkies. We went down to the gully. We talked on the walkie talkies and then we played 0's and x's. Then it was the end of the day. It was a really fun day and I wish we could have EOTC week next year.

My A-Z homework

I am an awesome bouncy child who loves doing everything except for the dishes. I love gymnastics heaps. I am incredibly loud at home and love spending my playtime inside unless it is a big job. I am kind and like food. I am called mini Annabelle (my older sister who looks the exact same as me). I try to be neat in my work and my name is Olivia or Livi as my nick name. I seriously love pancakes.
Always remind me of when to be quiet. I am responsible and respect others. I am smart and love reading and writing. My favourite animal is a turtle. I am an untidy person and leave a mess everywhere (that doesn't mean I litter). I play the violin and piano and hates wasps. For me having x-rays is horrible as it is very hard to keep still and I always dream about yellow stripy zebras.
