What did I do to my finger?????

"Lunchtime!!!!"
We ran inside to eat, we were STARVING!! The food was  was delicious. At the table all the kids talked and played. After lunch my sister and I ran straight to the tramp. My sister helped me do flic flacs and back flips . We kept jumping. Then once when I did a flip I suddenly landed on my pinky finger. It was excruciating pain but we kept bouncing. Then it started swelling up so I went inside. The adults looked at it and gave me some Ice and a tea towel to keep around my finger.


I sprained it!!!:(

Writing Prompt- The day I saved Christmas

Last Christmas I did a big thing for Santa. Let me tell you the story.

One day, actually I remembered this very special day, it was the 22nd of December 2014. Well, on that very special day I was Christmas shopping and I went into my sister's favorite shop. I was looking around when Santa appeared out of nowhere. He took me to a room behind the shop where they kept all of the shop's stock. I looked at Santa, then I looked into the mirror at me, then I looked out into the shop but Santa closed the door. I wondered if this was actually happening. I pinched myself like a girl did in a fairy tale. Yep, I was definitely awake. I stared at Santa. This was not true, I was meeting Santa!! Santa said something, I was just able to understand."Listen. I know you're surprised, but I thought you would be a perfect girl to help me."
"Wha..." My voice trailed off. I was so shocked to talk and what did Santa need help with anyway? He looked at me seriously. "Come with me" He said and took me to his sleigh. "Cuddle up in this blanket and get warm because it is going to be cold up where we are going." Once I got my voice back I asked where we were going. He said it was a surprise. I watched the reindeer. Rudolphs nose is very bright. We went really up high, for what seemed like hours. It got really cold. I just knew where we were going, the North Pole, and that is where we turned out to go.

Santa gave me a special Santa's helper suit and took me inside a house.



It was Santa's work shop. I saw and met a lot of elves. Santa had so much elves why did he need me? I asked Santa. "Oh, Ho ho ho!!! Elves do not know how to drive sleighs!" He said. I think Santa thought that I could drive a sleigh.
"No, I can't drive a sleigh!!!" I told Santa. Oh, how he was confused.
Santa taught me how to drive a sleigh and I got a licence!! All though I was only 9. But why did Santa need me??


"AHCHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" 
"As you can see, I am a bit sick which means I can not go around the world delivering prezzies to good children, and then I chose...


AHHCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Oh sorry, And then I chose you."
"But how do I know who's been naughty or good?"

"You have got so many questions. This year we have surprisingly we have only a few naughty children in the whole wide world. Their names are, Leo Marlon Lynwood, Aston Hervey Blythe, Eric Bentley Kevinson, Rowley Geoffrey Hallman, Xavior Ryder Outterridge and Douglass Rowland Aiken and don't worry If you forget them. It is written on the sleigh." Santa explained.

"Why were you at the shop though??" I asked

"Why was I at the shop? Ho!! Didn't you know, that is the most popular shop in the world??"I did not know that, but now I do anyways.

"What will my mum say?"

"It feels like you have been here for ages but you have only been here for a split second. When you go back home It will be 5 minutes after when you left." This made no sense. If I was back home at lunch time people would see me. I am supposed to be delivering presents at night time. Apparently the presents are invisible until midnight on Christmas eve. That makes more sense now. But there was one small problem. I was afraid of heights, but I didn't tell Santa that.

It was time to leave. I found out the sleigh could talk.

"Hop in" the sleigh said. "Closing door, all presents with you, here is your teddy!!!" Santa looked at me, it was his. He used it for luck when delivering prezzies.

"Off you go" Said Santa.
"Bye!!!"I yelled!

"Lifting'' Said the sleigh.

As I flew up in the air, I heard one of Santa's sneezes.
"AHH AHHH AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHCHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Delivering the presents was pretty easy. It was fun too. But the best part of that day was when I met Santa. Santa gave me the extra presents. Do you want to hear the rest of the story? Ok then.
When I got back. Santa gave me some presents and a hot chocolate. We watched my favorite TV show too.
But then sadly it was time to leave.
Santa and I took off in the sleigh.
"Good bye Santa" I said.
"Good bye" He replied and I ran in my house fir lunch!!!

That is really hard. I have so much favourite presents like my wallet, my stationary and cute rubbers, my stuffed toy from when I was younger and lots more.

Today as the 7th of December 2015, My best friends Hannah and Lilly made my laugh at lunchtime.




Where do you play at lunchtime?
I usually play on the monkey bars on the playground, that's why I have so many blisters.

My 1st wish is when I am older I want to be RICH RICH RICH!!! (and be the richest person ever)

My best joke is quite long be here goes,






One day a boy was sent home to get spelling words from his family. As soon as he got home he was a good boy and  started to get spelling words. He asked his mum who was on the phone.
"What can I have as a spelling word mum?"
"Be quiet" his mum said and then kept talking on the phone. The boy wrote that down. Next he went to his sister who was singing.
"What can I have as a spelling word? His sister did not hear and kept singing.
"Lollipop lollipop lolly lolly lollipop!!'' She sung. So the little boy wrote that down.
Next he went to his older brother who was watching batman on the computer.
He asked his question. His brother did not hear.
"BATMAN!!!" He shouted, enjoying the show.
The boy wrote that down. Then went to his dad and baby brother who were watching the wiggles.
He asked his question and again the boy's dad or his baby brother hadn't heard.
"Driving in my big red car." They yelled.
The next day the little boy went to school. He had memorised all his words. His teacher asked him, "what are your spelling words?"
"Be quiet," he said. He was then sent to the principal who asked him,
"What do you think you deserve from this?"
"Lollipop lollipop lolly lolly lollipop!!'' He sung.
"Who do you think you are?" Boomed the principal.
"BATMAN!!!"
"How do you think your gonna get away from this?"
Driving in my big red car!!!!!" He said

Freya

"Good Luck," said Mum after she dropped off Freya to school. It was Freya's first day and she was very excited and nervous.  Their teacher was called Miss Green. Freya loved learning. Everyday their Principal would come in and test them. Freya got them all right and was the only one in the whole class. Freya got to play when everyone else got tested. Freya liked that but her Dad did not...

One day Freya's dad came in to talk to the teacher and the principal. The principal was a very mean and strict principal, Freya's dad did not know that.

"Freya must do the tests or she will have to move up a level," Said Freya's dad starting with a nice and calm voice.

"Freya will not be doing the tests and she is to young to go up to the next level." Shouted the principal.

They argued and argued while Miss Green was just standing there and Freya was crying.

"SSHHHHHH" Shouted the principal to Freya. Freya immediately stopped crying and ran out the door.

At the end or the fight. The principal had obviously won.

"Ha" She said as Freya's dad walked away. Now he had to look for Freya. At the end of the day Freya came back from school. There was a big blackboard and lots of books and a table in their lounge. "What happened?" Freya said.

"You're stopping school."

"What, I thought that was illegal"

"No, You're getting home schooled which means your mother and I will be teaching you. I am not putting up with that principal again."

Freya ran to her bedroom and started thinking, really hard. How can I tell my friends this? She thought. Freya thought about all her friends. How could she tell Abby, Maddy, Chloe, Zoey, Niki, Hannah, Amy, Olivia, Liz and Sophie with no more days at school?? Freya thought really hard. She had an idea. Her dad has an email. So why can't she. Freya got herself one. Though it said she was 14!!! She tried finding her friends but they didn't have one. Plan failed. Thought Freya. Freya kept thinking and thinking and thinking. PING!! An idea popped into her head. She was going to ask if she could go to school tomorrow.

Freya asked, and you guessed the answer right, No. So the next day, Freya was told to sleep in. She said she would but creeped outside and went to school. She told Abby, Maddy, Chloe, Zoey, Niki, Hannah, Amy, Olivia, Liz and Sophie and all her other friends. They were so sad but understood. Freya said good bye and creeped back inside in her bed. Where luckily her dad was not looking for her.

Freya enjoyed home school, But she wanted playtimes at the play ground and friends to help her.

North Head and Tunnels

For my trip on Tuesday I get to go on a trip to the North head and tunnels. Here is some facts before I left and what I found out after.

1. There are uneven surfaces, sudden drops and holes especially in the tunnels.
2. Dog friendly
3. It is in Devonport
4. No lighting fires
5. 2 planes from the world wars are buried there.
6. The streets are lined with wooden colonial villas built in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
7. There are large stately homes along the shore facing the city centre.
8. North Head is now a public area managed by the Department of Conservation.
9. The adjacent naval base was the main focus of Devonport for many decades.
10. Just across Auckland harbour from the central business district, the historic suburb of Devonport is full of charm and character.
