I would like to know that...(I did a little more than three)
What would happen if there were no Moon?
The most immediate effect (other than the lack of moonlight, of course) would be on the Earth’s tides. With only the Sun’s gravitational influence, the difference between high and low tides would be reduced dramatically - as would tidal drag, which slows the Earth down at a rate adding about 0.002 seconds to the length of a day each century. Long term, the effects would be far more serious. The climate of the Earth is sensitively dependent on the 23.5° tilt of the Earth’s axis, and without the stabilising presence of our relatively huge Moon, the gravity of the other planets would produce big changes in this angle - as it does with Mars, whose tilt changes by 60° over a few million years.

Maria And Simons Wedding
I woke up in the morning and had breakfast, and changed into my clothes and went straight to the girls house. We met the other two flower girls. The older one was called Sofia, she was 8 years old. The younger one was called Daniela, she was 6 years old. They both lived in Perth, Australia. Their dad is a famous cook. We all watched TV together for a while and then the photographer came. We were in some photos and then we got changed into our dresses and a lady did our make up. After that we kept on watching TV.
Finally the van came to pick us up. I was really nervous. Then the lady told us when to go. "Go" she told us. I was smiling and walking down the isle while throwing pretty pink flower petals on the ground. Everyone followed us. The bride (Maria) was very pretty. Then we stayed at the end until the wedding finished and we were allowed to blow bubbles on the way out, it was really fun. The photographer took some more photos and we had some food.
Next we played in the grass (with our white shoes on) and got really dirty. We went to explore the outside and our shoes turned green. We went to the bathroom to clean our shoes. It didn't work completely though. So we went to play on the concrete. We played lots of games. We found the photographer and got lots more photos together.
After that we found out it was dinner time. We played on phones and finally the entrées came around. It was delicious. Next our mains came. We ate them too. before dessert we played hide and seek down stairs and then finally it was dessert time. We started to play with the melted candle wax and made shapes out of it. It was very late at night so we had to go to bed. "Goodnight." We said, as we walked back to the house we rented.
Master-My Game
One of my favourite games to play outside is Master, which is a netball game that you practice shooting goals in. To play master you need a netball/basketball goal and a netball and more than 1 player. First, there needs to be 1 person with the ball standing at the netball post and a line of the players standing at a marking of your choice. Then when the person at the post touches the post with the netball they throw it to the first person in line who runs forward to catch it. Then, they try to shoot a goal. If they do not get it in the net, the other person who was at the pole gets a turn and this goes on until somebody gets a goal. When somebody then does get a goal, the opponent must stand at a special mark and try to get the ball in the net. If they don't get it in the net, the other person is the master, if they do, then they are the master. You can keep playing for as long as you like because this game doesn't have an end. I like this game because it is fun, energetic and helps me practice shooting for netball and it also keeps you fit. I hope that you will enjoy this game as much as I do.
Going To China 2012
When I was in year 2 in 2012 I went to China. I stayed at my cousins house in a big apartment in Beijing. The landmarks are the Great Wall and Tian'anmen square. On the second day we went to the amusement park. It was huge (like triple the size of Rainbows End) and quite close to the apartment. There was great and fun rides there. I liked the pirate ship I thought it was the scariest (no way!!!). On the third day we went to the planetarium and watched lots of 3D, 4D and dome movies. I liked the 4D movies because it sprayed us with lots of water.
On the fourth day, we went to the zoo. At the zoo I saw lots of animals that you can’t see in New Zealand like bears, panda bears, hyenas and heaps more.
On the 5th day we went to the capital museum and saw lots of things made of bronze, Stone and Jade. We saw the terra cotta figures. There was lots of ancient porcelain pottery. On the sixth day I went to the science museum and we saw a show about water minerals , Then we went to a static electricity show and were chosen as volunteers. We stood on a table and the man turned the machine on and our hair started to stand on its end. On the 7th day we went to the water cube. It was a swimming place covered with water slides some scary loopy loop ones and some normal slides. On the 8ve day we went to the summer palace and we got to go on little boats, I got a 30 minuet turn driving it. On the 9th day we went to the hanging temple. I loved it there but I thought it was really scary. Okay I was only in year 2 and it was a temple hanging on a cliff with only poles that was holding on to the cliff, that is why I was so scared. On the 10th day, a really hot day my Mum decided we could take a 2 hour drive to the Great Wall. So we did. when we got there we got all our gear and went to start. The whole thing takes 18 months to do so we only did a little bit. On the eleventh day we went to an old village with lots of corn. People sat there and drew photos of people, the gardens, the water fountain every thing around them. It was so fun. On the twelfth day we went to see the Yungang Grotters. They are lots of Buddha's carved in lime stone. on the thirteenth day we went to get a photo place to get some photos in traditional clothes. Then we went to a not so traditional place. On the 14th day we packed up and left back to home in New Zealand.
Here are some of the photo shoots.
Traditional,
Not so traditional
What I Have Done In The Holidays-Blog bingo
Hi everyone, what have you been doing in the holidays? Comment down below, but first read my post.
First on the first few days of the holidays I went to Meadowbank Shopping Centre to make Cupcakes and Cookies. These are a few examples which my sister and I made:

On Wednesday we were going to our friends house for a sleep over. But they picked us up from swimming lessons and drove us to the movies. We went to watch Inside Out. It was a really good movie and we enjoyed it a lot. When we got to their house we made our own smarkers(scented markers) W had pizza for lunch and then played some games until dinner, then had some dessert and watched dancing with the stars finally it was bed time. We went to bed and in the morning we had breakfast and got dropped off to swimming. It was really fun ,What did you do in the holidays?

Term two reflection
It's time to reflect on Term 2.
I think I was most pleased with learning lattice multiplication because I got it straight away. I enjoyed having a must do/can do list so I know what to do and finish. I found the some of the Samoan worksheets and the speaches hard because I didn't get what to do. I think I need more help in reading because I need more fluency. I would like to do science more because I like chemistry and experiments. I would like to add a catch up so if you haven't finished something you will do it. I mostly enjoy squiggle story and word of the week. My goal would be active listening because sometimes I chat or get distracted.

For The Birds
Once upon a time there lived a flock of bluebirds. One day one of the small bluebird came down and fluttered onto a huge, strong (kind of) powerline. The rest of the flock flew down and chatted and chirped away. Then suddenly a big bluebird landed on the powerline pole. The little birds laughed and whispered in front of him.
The big bird was really angry he came and flew above them. The little birds looked up and moved really quickly to the side. The big bird dropped down in the gap and the powerline went down, the birds slid down touching the bird. The big bird fell with his legs clinging on. The little birds started picking and nipping his fingers really hard until he fell down onto the ground. The powerline flew up and the small birds fell with their feathers going everywhere.
Plonk, the first small bluebird landed. "Ha ha ha ha" the big bluebird laughed. The small bird looked down, " oops I think my feathers fell off" he thought and covered himself. Then all the rest of the bluebirds fell down. The big bird started laughing again. They all looked down and covered their selves. Finally they ran away to behind a bush.
