Going To China 2012

When I was in year 2 in 2012 I went to China. I stayed at my cousins house in a big apartment in Beijing. The landmarks are the Great Wall and Tian'anmen square. On the second day we went to the amusement park. It was huge (like triple the size of Rainbows End) and quite close to the apartment. There was great and fun rides there. I liked the pirate ship I thought it was the scariest (no way!!!). On the third day we went to the planetarium and watched lots of 3D, 4D and dome movies. I liked the 4D movies because it sprayed us with lots of water.

On the fourth day, we went to the zoo. At the zoo I saw lots of animals that you can’t see in New Zealand like bears, panda bears, hyenas and heaps  more.
On the 5th day we went to the capital museum and saw lots  of things made of bronze, Stone and Jade. We saw the terra cotta figures. There was lots of ancient porcelain pottery. On the sixth day I went to the science museum and we saw a show about water minerals , Then we went to a static electricity show  and were chosen as volunteers. We stood on a table and the man turned the machine on and our hair started to stand on its end. On the 7th day we went to the water cube. It was a swimming place covered with water slides some scary loopy loop ones and some normal slides. On the 8ve day we went to the summer palace and we got to go on little boats, I got a 30 minuet turn driving it. On the 9th day we went to the hanging temple. I loved it there but I thought it was really scary. Okay I was only in year 2 and it was a temple hanging on a cliff with only poles that was holding on to the cliff, that is why I was so scared. On the 10th day, a really hot day my Mum decided we could take a 2 hour drive to the Great Wall. So we did. when we got there we got all our gear and went to start. The whole thing takes 18 months to do so we only did a little bit. On the eleventh day we went to an old village with lots of corn. People sat there and drew photos of people,  the gardens, the water fountain every thing around them. It was so fun. On the twelfth day we went to see the Yungang Grotters. They are lots of Buddha's carved in lime stone. on the thirteenth day we went to get a photo place to get some photos in traditional clothes. Then we went to a not so traditional place. On the 14th day we packed up and left back to home in New Zealand.
Here are some of the photo shoots.
