Day 1

                                       Friday  10.4.15


Dear Diary,


I was really excited because my Mum, Dad, sister and I were leaving for Christchurch for my cousins wedding. VROOM VROOOOOM, the large taxi came down our drive. We put our things in the boot and jumped in. Then the taxi took us all the way to the domestic airport. When we arrived there we got our big bag to the luggage conveyor belt and waited for the plane to come at the gate. Not to long after we had sat down the plane landed to pick us up. We went in and found our seats and prepared  for the ride south. It was about one and a half hour flight there. When we landed in Christchurch we went to get our bags and our rental car. We drove for an hour or two to the Rakaia Gorge where we were staying at Terrace Downs ( a place with lots of houses). Everyone else was staying there too. We put our luggage in the lodge and went to the restaurant to get some lunch. While we were there I saw our Aunty walk past, she was really busy because our cousin (her daughter) Maria was getting married and we were flower girls at her wedding. Aunty told us we were having a party that night. So we went to the boys house (where Simon, who Maria was going to marry stayed). At the party we met all the bridesmaids and the other two flower girls who had flown in from Perth Australia. We had some food and practised what we were going to do the next day. Then it was bed time so we all went back to our lodge.
