At school we learnt about growth mind set and fixed mind set. Which one to use????? Use growth mind set. Lets start positive on the growth mind set. What is growth mind set?? Growth mind set is trying until its perfect and believe that your most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. We watched a video called Austin's Butterfly, have a look and you will soon know what growth mind set is.
You should always do what Austin did. He was only in year 1.
Now for fixed mind set. What is fixed mind set??? Fixed mind set is basically the opposite of growth mind set. It is like saying something like, it's to hard or I can't do it.
Here is something from Carol Dweck-In a fixed mind set students believe their basic abilities, their intelligence, their talents, are just fixed traits. They have a certain amount and that’s that, and then their goal becomes to look smart all the time and never look dumb. In a growth mindset students understand that their talents and abilities can be developed through effort, good teaching and persistence. They don’t necessarily think everyone’s the same or anyone can be Einstein, but they believe everyone can get smarter if they work at it.
