Weekly Challenge-Fitnes-a-thon

For school we are doing a fitness-a-thon. We are getting extra fit!! For our homework we have to research some benefits of regular exercise.






Here are my 10 benefits, of regular exercise.


  1. Exercise helps you breath more easily.
  2. It helps walk a longer distance.   
  3. Exercise makes you fit.
  4. It helps you lose weight.
  5. Exercise improves sleep quality.
  6. It increases bone density.
  7. Exercise helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression and improve your mood.
  8. It increases your chances of living longer.
  9. Exercise improves your ability to do daily activities and prevent falls.
  10. It builds strong, healthy muscles.
  11. It's good for your heart
Here are some benefits I searched up.


  1. You will have a lower chance of getting lung cancer.
  2. It looks after and lowers your weight.
  3. Exercise  helps improve oxygen levels in the blood.
  4. Exercise prevents osteoporosis. ( Osteoporosis is a medical condition in which the bones become brittle and fragile from loss of tissue, typically as a result of hormonal changes, or deficiency of calcium or vitamin D.)
  5.  It helps you lose weight more easily (or eat more without gaining weight). 
After school the sports I do that will increase my level are gymnastics (my favourite sport) and dance.

    I enjoyed reading your post about the benefits of exercise. I like how you list your own benefits and then some you searched up. I wonder if you could change the ones you searched up into your own words so that your friends could understand what you have written.
